#ACUI27 will foster belonging through shared learning and community, while inspiring attendees with restorative energy, empowerment, and fresh ideas. Rooted in Baltimore’s spirit of resilience and creativity, the conference will equip participants with tangible tools and renewed motivation to drive meaningful change on their campuses. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the Charm City!
Call for Sessions
Doing something awesome on your campus? Have a program that made an impact? Have an innovative idea that you want to discuss with colleagues from around the world? Submit an educational session proposal about it—we invite members from all specialties, experience levels, and ACUI Involvement to contribute to the program. The submission deadline is Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
Reflecting on this year’s conference vision, we welcome session proposals that explore one or more of the following:
- Belonging: How do you create and nurture a sense of welcome, shared learning, and community?
- Empowerment: In what ways could you challenge others to take in a new idea and leave with tangible tools, confidence, and motivation?
- Restorative Energy & Action: What perspective or knowledge would leave attendees feeling refreshed, motivated, and ready to take knowledge back home to enact real change?
Proposals that highlight tangible takeaways within these themes are strongly encouraged. In addition to the themes, we are seeking out more education sessions on the topics members are asking for:
- Fiscal management
- Assessment, evaluation, and research
- Marketing
- Audio visual and technology
- Programming
- Advising and supervising
