Salary Survey

Reliable compensation data helps you recruit, retain, and advocate for your team—and make the case that your work advances campus community.

The ACUI Salary Survey gives members trusted, peer-sourced insights into what college union and student activities professionals earn across roles, regions, and institution types.

Data Collection Now Open Through December 14

You can now add your institution’s data to strengthen the survey. Only those who participate in the data collection period will be able to access reports.

ACUI primary contacts and designated data contributors will have access to input and export data. If you need to add a data contributor, please contact acui@acui.org.

Following data collection, in mid-January, start exploring reports to see where your team stands. It’s one more way ACUI helps you advance campus community.

2026–27 Timeline

A valuable member resource

Compensation benchmarks are among the most requested data in the field, and now those insights live in one place built for you. Contribute your institution’s data, then explore how your salaries compare to peers in the United States. The more members who participate, the stronger the data becomes.

Easy data entry

Sharing your data takes minutes—not hours. A guided form walks you through each field, saves your progress as you go, and flags anything that looks incomplete before you submit. You can even load the data from an Excel file.

Robust reporting tool

Turn raw numbers into answers. The reporting tool lets you filter and compare compensation by position, ACUI region, institution size, and more, so you can pull exactly the benchmark you need for a budget request, a job posting, or a conversation with leadership.
