2024 Aspiring Directors Institute
July 9, 2024 – July 11, 2024
Build skills and strategies to support your career advancement in higher education! Presented in partnership with ACUHO–I, ACUI, and NIRSA, the 2024 Aspiring Directors Institute is a three-day intensive professional development program, which will be hosted in Portland, Oregon from July 9-11, 2024.
This unique cross-association professional development opportunity will bring together individuals working in campus housing, college unions and student activities, and collegiate recreation to build skills, competencies, and networks across their various functional areas.
Each day of the Institute will offer specially curated content sessions, in addition to structured opportunities for discussions, meaning making, and relationship building throughout. Join your peers to learn about relevant trends impacting higher education with a lens of social justice and equity woven throughout explorations of staffing, organizational development, planning, and fiscal management.

Registration is now available for the 2024 institute, which is hosted by ACUHO-I. Use the rates and links below to register, and access additional information for planning your trip here. To receive the membership pricing as an ACUI member, you will need to create an ACUHO-I profile, complete the required steps, and verify your email address. Once your profile is created, you will need to click on Events and “Browse Events” to find the Aspiring Directors Institute to register.
