Webinar: Careers in Student Affairs Series: The Power of Student Experiences

Brittany Begley Wildman attended the University of Kentucky, where she majored in business. While there, she began working at the Student Center and discovered her passion for higher education, which led her to pursue a master’s in higher education. After gaining experience in both higher education and the private sector, Brittany ultimately returned to where her heart is—working with students in higher education. She played a key role in helping to open the new student center at the University of Kentucky and now serves as the executive director of student engagement at the University of Louisville, overseeing student involvement, student organizations, leadership programs, and related campus engagement initiatives. In this role, she combines her love of higher education with her extensive experience in student centers and student employment. Brittany also completed her Ph.D. in studies in higher education in 2023, with research focusing on the impact of on-campus employment for both supervisors and student employees. Outside of her career, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband, Zack, their sevent-year-old son, Graden, and their three-year-old Bernedoodle, Max. She also loves reading, running, and connecting with nearby friends.
