About the Presenters

Chrissie Taylor is a seasoned higher education professional with over 20 years of experience in student engagement, event operations, and campus leadership. As campus center manager at Rutgers University–Camden, she oversees student staffing, event logistics, and campus-wide programming, including high-profile events like commencement and homecoming. Chrissie is also a class coordinator for Temple University’s Continuing Education Program and has held prior roles in residential life and facilities operations at Stockton University. A dedicated leader in the field, she has held multiple regional and national roles with ACUI, where she currently serves as Region VII director. Chrissie holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Stockton University in special education, education, and psychology.

Jessi Eaton is a 20-year veteran of student activities and union work, though her career really began in high school making perfectly executed block lettered banners. She spent fifteen years in Kirby Student Center at the University of Minnesota–Duluth, where she served in a variety of positions that included communications, leadership programming, Greek life, the first-year experience, and advising student organizations. Jessi is currently the manager of student life for Purdue University Global, the online campus of the Purdue system, which serves the needs of 35,000 exclusively remote adult learners. She holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Capella University and is currently a doctoral student at Purdue Global. She has also served for more than a decade as a volunteer and presenter at the regional and international levels for ACUI, her professional home. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family, watching sports (Go Jays!), and forcing herself to go to the gym.
