This ACUI regional roundtable program will explore assessment practices and the importance of storytelling in higher education. Designed for campus professionals at all experience levels, the session will provide an opportunity to discuss how assessment data can be transformed into meaningful narratives that demonstrate impact, advocate for resources, and highlight student success. Participants will engage in facilitated Zoom breakout rooms focused on topics such as creating effective learning outcomes, collecting meaningful data, using qualitative and quantitative assessment methods, communicating results to stakeholders, and telling the story of student experiences in authentic and compelling ways. The time will encourage open dialogue, idea sharing, and collaborative problem solving as attendees discuss challenges, successes, and innovative practices from their own institutions. Whether you are new to assessment or looking for fresh ways to present your department’s impact, this program offers a supportive environment to exchange ideas, gain practical strategies, and connect with colleagues across the region who are committed to strengthening assessment and storytelling in higher education.
