Leah Barrett, Ed.D., is president of Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska. She has been a member of ACUI since 1992 and worked in the college union field from 1992-2008. Her dissertation was a quantitative study that found that the physical space of the college union was a factor in building a sense of community on campus.
