Debra L. Hammond is executive director of the University Student Union at California State University–Northridge, where she also serves as a faculty member in the Michael D. Eisner College of Education. In 2012 she was named Outstanding Professor of the Year in the college counseling student services program, in 2016 she was named California State University system’s outstanding staff member of the year, and in 2017 the San Fernando Valley Business Journal presented her with its Lifetime Achievement Award for her accomplishments as a woman in business.
