A Message from the 2024 Regional Conference Coordinator

Be sure that you take advantage of our conference rate of $159 per night at the Holiday Inn San Diego – Bayside by booking your stay prior to October 14, 2024.

Thank you for joining us at Point Loma Nazarene University for the 2024 ACUI Region I Conference: P.O.I.N.T. Toward Student Success! Over the three days we were in San Diego, the Conference Planning Team and I watched meaningful connection-building and information sharing. We hope you departed feeling reinvigorated and ready to explore new partnerships, opportunities, innovation, networks, and transformation in the name of student success.

That said, the work in Region I is never done and we have to build off the excitement we shared at The Point. Here are some ways you can assist the Regional Leadership Team and future Conference Planning Teams to grow the region, improve future conference experiences, and develop programs that you, the regional membership, want to see.

Consider Joining the 2025 Conference Planning Team

If you saw us with our gold tassels running around and making things happen at Point Loma and thought, “Hey, maybe I could do that,” we would love to have you join the 2025 team. Every year, the Conference Planning Team brings together professionals and students to craft the conference experience from start to finish. Consider Submitting a Bid to Host a Regional Conference

We admit that the picturesque seaside campus of Point Loma Nazarene University will be a tough act to follow. However, we hope that seeing Milton and his team show off what The Point had to offer inspired some of you to consider hosting the 2025 Regional Conference. We love visiting new campuses and learning about what our friends and colleagues are doing at their college unions.
