Regional Director Election Results

Throughout May 2017, elections occurred for regional director in Regions II, IV, VI, and VIII. Overall, there were 365 ballots cast out of 1,455 eligible voters, representing a 25.1% voter turnout.

ACUI is pleased to announce the following results:

Region II Director
Wendy Denman
Texas A&M University–Commerce

Region IV Director
Christina Walsh, Ph.D.
Lane Community College

Region VI Director
Alison Doehring
University of Akron

Region VIII Director
Amy Liss
University of Massachusetts–Lowell

These newly elected volunteers will officially take office at regional conferences later this year, but will join the team of current regional directors to begin their training and planning in June.
