Join Dr. David Parrott (University of Louisville) for our Election Season – Ask an Expert session, where he will provide a broad strokes overview of free speech/first amendment on public and private campuses, followed by open Q&A.
About the Presenter
Dr. David Parrott is the assistant vice president of student affairs for student wellbeing at the University of Louisville. Parrott has served in a variety of administrative roles in higher education at numerous institutions including at the University of Louisville, University of Florida, Texas A&M University, Western Michigan University, and Western Kentucky University. Parrott earned his doctorate at the University of Louisville in educational psychology with an emphasis in student affairs administration. He is a seasoned consultant in higher education legal issues, student conduct, threat assessment, and race relations. Parrott has extensive knowledge of higher education legal and compliance issues related to student affairs.
