2024 Region IV Online Event: Basic Needs & Pantry Roundtable

Discussion around the needs facing basic need and pantry programs and services within colleges and universities. This will be an opportunity for all ACUI members to share ideas, express challenges, and create a network of colleagues organizing similar programs and services. 

About the Presenter

For the past 15 years, Chelsea Kimmett has developed emerging leaders by supporting and guiding initiatives, programs and organizations led by students. A PCC graduate, Kimmett is passionate about the mission of community college and believes in the power of education and experiential learning. Professionally, Kimmett began her career at Linn-Benton Community College in 2008 as the student activities coordinator.  In 2010, she moved to Portland Community College as the clubs & programs specialist, which later developed into an assistant director role with student life & leadership. After working with the PCC Foundation as the events coordinator, Kimmett returned home to PCC Student Life to lead a new student leadership program. Currently, Kimmett coordinates sustainability leadership & basic needs, a program which aims to support PCC students so they can thrive in an ever changing climate.
