The Inclusion Webinar Series includes five webinars focused on communication, belonging, and leadership. Recent executive orders by President Trump necessitate a shift in language while maintaining a commitment to delivering relevant and timely content. This series is designed to focus on how we communicate across differences, what belonging is/not, and how we can learn from mistakes we make as leaders.

What is belonging and what isn’t? Belonging can be easy to recognize when you feel it and even easier when you don’t, but it can be challenging to define. If belonging isn’t clearly defined in your context, both conceptually and practically, and if it is not pursued with intention, the result can be assimilation. In this session, we will explore the concepts of belonging and assimilation, and participants will leave with at least one action step to begin or continue aspirational belonging work in their home unit.
