Webinar: College Union Foundations – Introduction to Assessment

You know you need to level up your assessment, but you aren’t sure exactly where to begin. This session will provide union professionals with the basics of assessment in student affairs so they have a solid foundation for their work. Participants will be introduced to terminology and the steps of the assessment cycle. If you never had a graduate level course in assessment or need a refresher on how to begin assessment work, this session is for you.  

About the Presenters
  • Dr. Megan Bell currently serves as the executive director of the University-Student Union at California State University–Los Angeles. She is also the chair of the Assessment, Evaluation, and Research Program Team for ACUI. Previously working at the University of Colorado–Colorado Springs, Bell has served as the interim assistant vice chancellor of student affairs, executive director of community learning and assessment, and director of the University Center. She holds a Ph.D. in higher education leadership from Colorado State University, a master’s degree from Washington State University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado.
