Individual Awards

ACUI offers the below awards to recognize individuals for their volunteer service and/or their commitment to the profession. Each link below will provide basis for recognition, criteria, and the application process.

This year's nomination deadline has closed for the awards and scholarships, which will be presented at the 2017 annual conference.

The President of the Year Award

Recognizes those university presidents who advance the college union idea

Two-Year College Professional Service Award

Honors an individual who best exemplifies outstanding achievement in the field of student activities or college union management at the two-year level

Richard D. Blackburn New Professional Award

Commitment to the profession of college unions and student activities and demonstrated commitment to ACUI

Excellence in Volunteer Service Award Exceptional commitment to and success in an ACUI volunteer role
The ACUI Values Award Demonstrated adherence to the core values of the Association
Edward S. (Beanie) Drake Founders' Award Exemplifying the mission, vision, and values of one's institution and ACUI
Earl Whitfield Regional Outreach Award

Recognizes excellence in a regional campaign that is created for a specific marketing, outreach, or communication need
