Partner Programs

ACUI has a variety of educational partnerships with other organizations that support the professional development of its members. Below are programs currently offered through these partnerships.

Designed for women who aspire to new leadership positions on campus, this institute features a curriculum with an overall focus on building the next generation of leaders in higher education administration and student affairs. An ACUI premier program, the Women’s Leadership Institute welcomes partnerships annually with other higher education associations to promote learning and networking across functional lines.

International Study Tour

Every few years, several student affairs associations come together to coordinate a study tour that explores the structure and practice of higher education and student affairs around the world. With past trips including the United Kingdom, South Africa, and Australia,  seven associations are partnering to offer an educational tour through the UK in 2015.

Student Organizations Institute

In partnership with ASCA, NACA, and NIRSA, the Student Organizations Institute offers professional development of those who work with student organizations and their advisors. With topics related to roles/responsibilities of advisors, risk management, group conduct, and student organizations policies and procedures, the program will be take place in June 2015.

Stop The Hate logo

With expertise and resources related to the leadership development in college students, the National Clearinghouse for Leadership Programs has partnered with ACUI on multiple online learning programs annually since 2009. In addition to the calendar of upcoming webinars, resources from all past programs that support the professional development of leadership educators are available in archived format.

ACUI has joined seven other higher education organizations to form the Inter-Association  Leadership Education Collaborative, which aims to help campus educators prepare leaders to serve in complex, adversity-filled, adaptive contexts.

 The Stop the Hate! program provides training and educational resources for colleges and universities to fight bias and hate crimes. Through this partnership, ACUI members can set up programs on campus or for local institutions, such as the popular Train the Trainer program, to gain the necessary tools to foster the development of community on campus.
